What are the radiation levels?
- The MRI has no radiation at all. The magnetic level of the MRI is 0.35 Tesla.
- The CT VCTXT has 80% percent less radiation than normal. The reason is that the XT technology requires less time to scan an area with improved results.
How long does it take to have the results ready?
It can take from 1-24 hours depending on the test and on the urgency.
How long does CT Coronary angiography take?
The actual test takes about 5 minutes. However, you should expect to be at the Centre for about 1 hour.
What do I need to do before the test?
Definitely you will have to make an appointment. The nurse will provide a list of things to do before the test. Further preparation and pre-tests will be done at the centre.
